I cannot lay any of these rugs down for more than 2 seconds without a kitty getting on them! Still no home for booger butt....and Oreo is not a good name. It does not rhyme with anything...lol I will take name suggestions, if you have any!

~Snowball and Alley Cat Rescue (please read)~

Remember Snowball? Well, Joan has painted another one. This time, he is pooped out! Gosh, isn't he just so precious? Her auction starts today, for this painting. The auction ends for the playful version, this afternoon, but if it does not sell, she may re-list it. Joan is an amazing portrait artist, isn't she? Help support my friend, a true starving artist by going to Crow Productions. Check out her blog too! Remember she is offering custom portraits, if you have a pet you want to capture forever in a painting. She can do small and large portraits, just send her a note!
PLEASE READ: So, I have been taking food to the Ferrel cats down the alley. It is one alley away down from mine. There seems to be a big cat colony there. At one spot were I leave the kitten food, it seems someone is taking it. May be the people that live in one of the homes, that the cats are hiding out in. Their back yard looks like "Sanford & Son" (if you get what I mean)..Anyway, I am really annoyed. I get that they are poor and probably cannot do anything about the cat issue, but to take my food away...it urks me! So, because of this I think I am gonna start a non-profit cat rescue. We do not have a ASPCA here in Denver. If I own a cat rescue organization, maybe people will take me more seriously and leave my stuff alone! lol
Anyway, It costs $50 to purchase a trap. I only have one. I cannot just trap one cat, because it is likely it will be a mom of one of the many kittens that are running around. So, I have to do something. If these kittens are not captured, they surely WILL die. I know, I have seen all three of Shadows siblings (which were alley cats) die before they hit 4 months old. These are not quick deaths either. They get terribly injured by another stray animal and go crawl behind something to die...which takes days, because they end up getting eaten alive by maggots. YES THIS IS REALITY!
So, I have decided to start a blog for the non-profit and try to raise money for cages, food, vet bills and such to help with this problem. It is all I can think of, to save these little poopers!~
I will be offering special felted dolls and other kitty items and some of Joan's paintings, in order to help raise money. If you want to donate, please email me and I will keep you informed when I get this whole non-profit started. I have never done one, so I will be asking one of my girlfriends for help, who has.
I have been praying on this for a long-time. Just last night I worry a lot about the poor things and it can be very difficult for me emotionally and financially. This idea about a non-profit comes from the holy spirit, I know. So, pray for me, but especially pray for the well being of all the little kittens!
PS~ I need help with a name for my non-profit...any suggestions?

~Snowball by my friend Joan~

Okay, Okay I know this is my third blog of the day! LMAO. I just went over to my friend Joan's blog to see a new painting she made...OMG Isn't it just darling? If you have not gone over to her blog...you need to go. She has two darling paintings on ebay, right now for Christmas. They are great deals and I know you will just love her art. I DO!
I think she could get commissioned to do peoples pets! Wouldn't that be a great gift for a dog or cat lover?

Bats in the Bellfry
Anyway, I did not finish the bunny, yesterday, so I am up early working on her. Maybe I will get her done by lunch, so I can start on another doll I drew up yesterday. Not even finished with one and already thinking about the next! LOL
I could have slept in, today. I did not get a great nights sleep. Booboo kitty knew it too and came up at 1:30. You should have saw her all spead out in the middle of the bed. LOL She spent 3 hours up there, which is unusual. I know cuz I kept waking up. I've been having some weird dreams, lately. The kind that are so real, you have to wake yourself up from them. Well, it is time to get busy. Have a good one!

Kitty Boo
Okay, I think I am done needle felting for a while. My hands are tired and well I think I could be done doll making for the week....HUH? just kidding. I hope they sell for a nice price to make the hard work worth it.
This one looks so much better in person. Her mussle is shaped with felt to give it dimension, that you just cannot see in these images. She has these lazy sleepy eyes, that reminds me of kitty naps. LOL
