~Freedom~

~Click her image to view the auction~
One more dolly finished for the week. This is is so very sweet, hard to part with I think. I will be putting her on Ebay this weekend. It will be a busy one here. I get my riding lawn mower delivered. Oh my. At least my brother will be here to uuuuhhuuumm...show me how to use it! lol I know I will probably be nervous my first time, but he thinks after a while I'll be like Edward scissor hands and be mowing patterns in my grass. HAHA..funny. I doubt that! But, it makes me feel very independent. And I am more independent than I have been ever, right now. I will finally be going out to meet people (unfortunately at a bar) this weekend. I don't get to meet too many people making dolls all day! lol But, I would not trade this in for anything right now. It is so much fun to be creating again.

~Miss Glory~

I finished my dolly. She will be for sale on June 6th on my WSOAPP sales blog for $69, plus $12 shipping. You may purchase her here now, if you cannot wait! I hope all of you waiting for another one of my dolls are not disappointed. I hope I can try to make at least one doll a week, while taking my classes. It may not always work out that way, but I am excited about Halloween. They are always the most fun to make, I think we can all agree. For those of you who say you'd like to own one of my dollies. I do accept ideas or if you want one I have made in the past, I may be able to manage that if I have the materials. Thanks everyone for being patient with me. Enjoy Miss Glory!

A cozy prim home

Here are some pictures of my rug hooking tudors house. I had to share. I love all the prim decoration she has, don't you? Thanks Karen for allowing me to take on the spot pic's...lol I don't see any dust, do you? I know, I can be crazy! Gosh, if Karen ever decides to have a yard sale...count me in. Her home looks like a prim boutique!!! GIMMY!

The hook rug is only one of her projects. The pattern is by Hooked-on-Rugs. Someday, I hope to be able to make then this neat. I could not resist, so I had to order this pattern. They are having a buy one get one half off if you want to check it out!

I am signing up for Denver's 11th Annual Hook In ( a couple weeks from now) OMGosh, I have to take my camera. I am sure there will be some very talented people there. It will be interesting to see how much I can get done with an all day event. Normally, I work on my rug an hour or two at time. That is why it takes me so long. Ooooh, now I am excited!

Independence

Well, here she is the cutest little girl. She will be listed for 5 days starting Tuesday at 10am PDT.

To view her auction press here.

I was really quick about getting her on so someone could enjoy in time for the 4th. She will make such an adorable addition to someone's Americana collection.

I was tempted to keep her, but well you know I got enough dollies to go around, so she is anxiously awaiting to see where she will live.

I love her outfit, it is so colorful and fun. I hope you enjoy my creations. Thanks so much Tonya, for all your inspiration.

Have fun ladies. Time to start something new....

She is too cute!

I know, my gosh another project I am working on. It seems I am on a roll the last few days. Well, I am trying to get all my Americana dolls finished in time. You see, I have a ton of fabric and soooo little time left.

I love how this little lady is turning out. I used the glass eyes that Tonya gave me. (I also have a bunch I bought online) I forgot to use them, the last couple of dolls. They are actually really nice with this doll.

I am still working in my head what this little ladies name will be and what she will be holding. So, I guess that will be a surprise.

I have a question for you bloggers out there. Do you like when I show off what I am working on? I was not sure if I should be doing it anymore. It is so much fun for me to share. Maybe I am in need of someone to share them with. I am still "fresh", so maybe the drama will wear off in time...I hope not, cuz I am having fun!

What am I working on?

AAAAHHHH, she's naked and her limbs are not attached! LOL

This is all I have done on my Americana version of the Back Porch Pickins Vintage Annie. (with permission...thanks Tonya!) heehee.

I could not wait to try this pattern, so I made a forth of July version. I was a bit scared of the blue hair, but it is turning out really cute. I think she will be one of my best dolls so far.

I love this pattern. It is simple yet very adorable. I love the embroidery around the eys and the mouth is fun! OOOH, I am just gonna have to make more.

Well, I gotta scat, cuz our friend is coming over early and the house is a pit... TTYL! :)

Stripes

I went to JoAnn's today to get me some more osnaburg and look what I found. The coveted stripped material. There was barely a yard left, but at least I have it now. Of course, I had to pick up some other festive material as well.

I get to start my Americana Dolls this week. I am actually excited cuz I plan on using two new patterns. Of course almost ALL patterns are new for me. LOL It will be nice to work on them, but if I do get that contract, then I will also have to get my home ready for the market. I am worried about how it will go since Felix is using puppy pads as his litter box and I have my basement rigged up to keep him out of the gym and theatre rooms. I do not know how I am going to work that out. Oh well, I will cross that bridge when I get to it.
