Well, I was sitting here thinking. I need a doll idea. It is not time for Halloween, for me yet...so hmmmmm. I had to decide with fabric I had on hand and this is what I have so far. I am dedicating this doll to Cat Nap Inn Primitives and ALL you cat lovers out there. She is going to a be the Cat Lady. I am planning on making a felted kitty for her to hold, but I am still undecided if I need more than one....you know the typical steriotype. Anyway, I probably won't know till I am at that point in her creation.
I love her hair! I was a bit worried about how this funky stuff was gonna look, but she is fabulous! She looks much better in person. It is hard to see all the texture in it.
I am definately on a green eyes kick. Hey, I have green eyes and I am partial to them..they are really pretty to me. I have a bunch of glass eyes, but honestly, I like the painted eyes better. If anyone wants to try a pair of glass eyes, let me know I will send you a pair.
My idea for this doll came as I picked out the fabric and hair. Sometimes you just have to start and see what it becomes! I still have not got my bobbins in. I did get all my felt so I was able to work on that. I cannot finish my Bee Queen till I get that darn bobbin. I better go contact that person to check. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! I have no plans and that is fine with me.
