I was able to finish the second page in my Country Girl Art Journal. The colored pencil sketch is inspired by the work of Debi Hubbs. She has such a fun whimsical style in her art. The right side of the page is my attempt to draw a realistic rooster. Yeah maybe I should just stick to cartooning lol Anyway, if you did not know, my Chinese horoscope is the Rooster. I make jokes all the time about being cocky. Pretty much! So, I added some of the words that described their personality. I am glad that I came back to this after walking away. I was really not into it for a while, till I decided to find some inspiration. There are so many wonderful folk artists out there.
