I started working on this bag a couple months ago, but I was not happy with the size, so I took out.Shelby looked at me like I was nuts, because it was practically finished when I took it out.
I am glad I did. The size is perfect now. I felted it last night and sewed the leather straps on, this morning. Those leather straps were not very fun to stitch on...but I am very happy with my new bag. These are pictures of the before and after felting.
If you have never tried felting...you should! It is really cool to see what comes out in the end. It takes attention, though, because too much felting could happen if left alone.
