Great news~ So, I read the instructions on my Jury Duty form and it said to call their number the night before to see if you had to show up...good thing I did that. I was NOT called in. Gosh, could you imagine if I did not do that..LOSER. LOLAnyway, so I had 4 girls from church here last night. Three of them are in their early twenties. I teased them and said "technically, I am old enough to be your mom" yikes. Well, now they want me to be their foster mom, cuz I had such a great house with a latte maker and gym and theatre. They also said they want to be like me (creative in all things) when they grow up. How funny is that. Well, they all did really well learning. I think their young brains can absorb a lot!~
Myself on the other hand...I was working on this crocheted scarf that I have had issues with. I kept taking half of it out because of increases and decreases. Well, last night I noticed it was getting bigger again...Not sure if I swapped crochet needles to a bigger one or what. SO, I gave up. There is only so many mistakes I can handle in a short period of time.
We knit again tonight, so I need to find something else to work on. Something easy, so I can help my friend Pia get her knitting skills down. She is getting really frustrated with it, because she just somehow cannot get it right.
Well, I am off to work on this santa doll. I have to make him another hat. The red dye leaked onto his fur during coffee staining...uggh. Hopefully, he will be ready to list tonight or tomorrow! Have a good day! Sunny and 65 AGAIN here in Denver...rubrub!~
