Debbi Criswell I love searching for inspiration and finding these fabulous folk artists. Debbi is no exception. I love how this one of hers is simple. That is what drew me to it. After I did some research on her, I found so many adorable things. If I would of found her when I was in the market for artwork, I am sure I would have a few of her paintings. But, my house is stock full of originals already. Boo. Anyone want to trade? haha That's a good idea isn't it? Trade art!
Anyway.....I know mine doesn't compare to hers, but she is a pro and I just play with paint to pass the time while watching Reign on Netflix lol. It a lot of fun making this type of painting though. Not so much emphasis on details and it makes you feel like a little kid slapping paint down. ha I love the warm colors and the large moon in the background. I tried to make mine different enough, but I love that about hers!
