Sorry Joan, I could not wait. I have been teaching Joan how to make dolls. Paper clay dolls, that is. Here is Joan's first witch. I have been helping her as she goes. Showing her all my clever tricks, making the hat and needle felting her hair. It has been quite a fun experience being able to share my skills with someone.Joan will be putting her on E-bay next week and I will blog about it again...then. Soon maybe Joan can join our doll groups and start making a name for herself. I am so proud of her so far. She has been a great student.
Joan is using a pattern I created using muslin for these dolls. I will be showing her how to sew on my machine tomorrow morning, so she can start creating more.
