My plan was to knit this like a scarf and add big funky buttons as closures. Well, one skein is not going to be enough for this neck warmer. I knitted this in a rib pattern, which shrinks it up and uses more stitches. I could have made it with the garter stitch in the round and been okay. Thank goodness she had one more left on her ETSY.So, this project will be on hold till I receive the other skein in the mail. Unless I decide to take it out all together and start over. Believe me, I have no problem doing that. Becoming a good knitter means sacrificing hours of work for the perfect item! I did that with the red purse remember and I am so happy I did.
