Painted Pottery Day Of The Dead Mask

I created this mask with a ceramic hand mold.  It was bisqued, high fired then painted with acrylic and covered with a crackle glaze.  I have two more plain masks to pain and 5 embelished with clay flowers.

Painted Rocks

Its that time of year where I spend more time in my studio.  Winter always has me ina  crafty spirit. Not to mention that it's harder to be outside in cold and gloomy weather and rattle snake season - yeah there is that!  I was asked by a friend and one of my best supporters to paint her an angel on a rock.  I bought 20lbs of beach rock and let my imagination get away with me.   Some were perfect for faces, skulls and flowers.  They are so easy to paint on and fun to hold in your hand.   They are also so easy to display.  They are up in the ebay shop
