Blinds

I hate reading patterns. I got frustrated that the pattern called for things the sales clerk did not advice me, so I used what I had thought I needed. I am so impatient, I skipped the pattern and made my own version using dowel rods. They are cute and function okay. I have not found a claps for my string, so you have to tie it. I have 5 more to finish. Between schoolwork and everything else, I may be finished in a week. Gosh, I hope so.

I bought fabric and notions for dollies today. I want to create so badly!!! I can barely stand it any longer. I have 2 weeks left of school and week off. That would be a good time to teach my mom how to help me make dolls. She normally is a good sewer..lol She needs me to fix the machine and thread it all the time. But, I think she will get the hang of crafting with me.

I am not much for following detailed patterns besides dolls. I normally do not sew much of anything else. It looks beautiful thou...I like the color and pattern.

Love the fabric you got too. The very first one with the circles on it and the connected bubble lines in between, love!

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

These are very professional looking! I tried to follow a "no-sew" pattern and well, I just turned them into toppers! I have a sewing machine, but it just sits and taunts me, I have to go take lessons somewhere ;) The fabrics are lovely, excited to see the adorable dolls! Do you think you may make a bunny?

A bunny? Maybe. Probably not with this fabric though. Am Americana Bunny would be cute.

Jenny, your house is adorable and the yard is to die for. Love it. The blinds look like they are coming right along. You know that is my only tea cup like that. I must have bought it from the antique store. I guess. I use to buy lots of them when I worked there.

Good Job girl. There ya go, just figure out what works best for you. My way of doing things for years. LOL
Your house is wonderful. I sure wouldn't want to mow that lawn though. Not without a rider. LOL
