Mount Evans

We drove up to Mount Evans, today. It is the highest road in the northern hemisphere at about 14,000 feet. I drove up and boy was it pretty scary. The skinny winding road with NO guard rails and drop offs more than a thousand feet. YIKES. I had to keep my eyes on the road in fear of freaking myself out, looking over the side!

What gorgeous photos! I remember how scared I was driving up Pikes Peak and the mountains in Estes Park many years ago. We also visited Red Rock and Garden of the Gods when the kids were little and they were running all around and made me a nervous wreck! But I have never seen such beauty!

I received my wonderful Miss Glory yesterday! She is proudly displayed on my kitchen table. Come to my blog and you will see she made it safe and sound to Missouri! Thank you so much!

Have fun visiting with you brother. Sounds like a blast!

Hugs, Cris

Such pretty pictures Jenny. I bet that was really scary driving on the skinny roads, up that high.

Too bad you got sun burn in your earlier post. Take care of that.

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

Hugs,

Beautiful Jenny,
Good that you got a break.
I hate roads like that. Rogers pass is like that and I am not looking forward to it here soon.
Have a wonderful Holiday.
Hugs,Pea
