A little trip to Boulder

We drove to Boulder yesterday. Boulder is about 30 minutes from Denver, right at the foothills of the Rock Mountains. It is a college town (CU) and has a large walking area with shops and lots of tree huggers and street performers.

We had lunch outside on one of the numerous outdoor patios and people watched. Walk around and headed back home. It was nice to get out for a few hours.

I wanted to show you what I get to see on my way home. This is a picture of downtown Denver.

Oh Jenny what fun for you both.
My Denver has grown so much since I was last there. WOW! Been about 10 yrs but I didn't expect that much.
I will stay in my little town. I would get lost there for sure.
Have a wonderful week.

We lived in Denver years ago - I loved it. So much to do, and everybody was so active... it was great! But, a little far from the family, so we came back East. Thanks for some great photos!

I love the photos. Especially the mountains. It has been so long since we were in Colorado. I remember going through a little town, maybe Estes Park at the foot of the National Park. It was probably 15 years ago, but it was a quaint little hippie town with lots of shops and artists.

Boulder sounds delightful! I love being able to eat on a patio and watch the world go by.
