It's a good thing......

......i bought some yarn, because I won't be sewing today!

I cleaned my machine. OMG, look at how dirty it was. That is disgusting, Jennifer! After cleaning it, I am still having the same problems. I am just not up to fiddling with it anymore, today. I had problems with my camera and now this stupid blogger update is wacky as well...A person can only take so much mechanical failure in the span of a half hour...uggh.

What is wrong with this crap! uggh, I cannot even load a darn picture. Do you ever just want to throw things. Man, if my camera were as cheap as some cell phone, it would be history!! Even my laptop! AAAAHHHHH!

I couldn't agree more about the nonsense of mechanical failures and the unfortunate 'rules' about not throwing them, hard, against anything available. The wall, the floor, you name it. Alas, take a deep breath and walk away for a bit, it's the only way to continue on this journey of multi-tasking goodness...

I agree with you sister..have you thought about taking in your machine to your dealer and having it professionally done? sometimes they will give you a loaner...and if they do it on the premises it might not take as long...but I am like you..I hate being without it..but on the other hand if its not working..then maybe you should..I don't even want to know how dirty mine is...have a good one...

Like you, I often want to fling my laptop out of the window - and my camera! And my sewing machine! :)

Poor you. I've got exactly the same problems with my sewing machine and I'm waiting for someone (anyone) to pick it up to take it to the sewing machine doctor! Better luck with yours. :~(

Some days are like that! I sometimes think that certain items can become possessed. Take your camera to a trusted camera place. You could try Anderson Vacuum in Englewood for your sewing machine. You can think that a higher force wants you to do something different today:-)

Boy do I know what you mean! I had a sewing machine that was acting up on me but I hadn't had it cleaned for the whole timed I owned it...okay 5 years. So it was understandable that it needed to be cleaned. I was told to take it in and have it done professionally and it should work like new or close to it. It ended up costing me $75.00 to have it cleaned, a loner sewing machine was not an option and the problem was still there. I ended up having to buy a new machine 2 days later. I should have been excited about that but I was in the middle of a custom order and had to rush to buy what was not only available but inexpensive. I plan on getting a back up sewing machine and this time with research and planning, It will be the one I want. Now with electronics...Oooh girl, don't get me started!! Good luck and may the force be with you!
