Darn Wool

Can you see the fraying on the orange wool? Most of the other colors are not like that. The wool is literally falling apart as I hook it. I am so tempted to find some better wool, but I do not have a cutter and that would just be a nightmare. At least the rest of the wool is nice.

Once I have finished the two kits I bought, I intend to buy that wool cutter and start creating my own designs. I think I will start out with little bitty items, like pillow and bowl fillers...heehee. That way, I can actually get an item finished in one day! ha!

It is so nice here. It was almost 70 degrees, yesterday..Yeah, typical Denver weather. Yes, it is normally very mild here. Yes, I am bragging a bit. Watch us get a big blizzard, now that I opened my big mouth!

Anyway, I have not gotten out to get supplies, so I have not cleaned my machine yet. I really need to do that, today. Sometimes, I actually have to get motivated to venture out to run errands. I am such a hermit, sometimes.

Wool is not my "thing" but I hope you will show us it when finished.

Was your orange wool cut in the wrong direction? If you can pull it apart it usually means it was cut the wrong way! I hope this helps your outlook...

Thanks for the advice. When I cut my own, that will help. What direction do I cut wool? lol
