~Cozy knitting fun~

I started my first sweater, last night. I learned the long tail cast on. So, far the pattern seems pretty easy. Selma and I are going to try to work on it together, that way we can compare our work and make sure we are doing it correctly. She has off this week, so I may go hang at her house and knit after Christmas.

Yesterday, I worked on this black scarf (for me). I bought a new wool Burberry trench coat, so I wanted a nice scarf to go with it. I am going to try to work on it a little bit more this morning, before my day gets busy. I have to clean my office, do some dishes, put my laundry away, pick up some groceries...then GET A MASSAGE!

I am still waiting for those last minute packages that are supposed to arrive today. Hopefully, they get here in time.

Merry Christmas everyone. If I have time I will share a NON-taditional pasta recipe that I am making tomorrow! YUMMY.

Wow, your sweater is coming along nicely! It is even the same color as the picture! Too bad the WII didn't work out for Dave. You probably would have both enjoyed it. I hope you have a relaxing message and fun at your church party.

We are going to watch "It's A Wonderful Life" and have snacks in front of the TV tonight. We open our family gifts tomorrow morning. My kids still do not want to see the packages until Christmas morning like when they were little! So I have to drag them out of the closet later. After opening gifts I make a big breakfast with eggs Benedict. I hate making that complicated dish, but the family won't let me skip it! ugh! Have a Blessed night!
