~Poor Kitty~

Shadow got her 3 year shots, yesterday. She was squirming so much that I think the vet got it in her shoulder instead of her scruff. She was so angry. I dragged her out from under the bed last night and she was growling at me. I put her down and she looked so lethargic and was walking terribly slow. She went back under the bed and has not come out, since last night. She has not eaten or drank anything since yesterday morning. I am worried about her. It has been over 24 hours now, since her shot. I would think she would be over it by now. How long can a cat go without water?

I purchased this cute ski sheep kit at a craft/knitting boutique. I thought it was cool since I am a skier and I want to own some sheep...heehee. I also ordered a hooked rug holder (not sure what it is called) but I found a video on how to do it...gosh, it looks simple. SO, maybe I can finish those kits I bought months ago.

She'll get over it as soon as she's hungry. Shots can make them feel bad for a day or two. Tortes shell calicos can have a temper.

If she doesn't eat or drink by tomorrow..call the vets...she shouldn't be acting that way...our oldest, Otto who is 17 has to get more blood drawn on saturday..he has elevated thyroid and elevated kidneys...so a new diet and pills...and they are checking his blood pressure to make sure he is okay..and he has to be on a low protein diet..one cat has to be on an all protein diet...so now it gets interesting...trying to keep them out of each others food...
I learned how to knit today...only to knit..next time I get to purl and to cast off...we are making scarves for the street kids at our church..so am hooked on it..very relaxing...My friend (80) something is teaching me..and she is good...have a good one..and keep an eye on your little one...

Oh, poor little Shadow! Hope she is better by the time you read this. When my Siamese cats got mad at me they used to pee in the corners of the living room. She probably had a "kitty panic attack", not so much from the shot, but the whole experience. I think all the animal smells in the vet office freak them out! Have a good evening.

Hi Jenny, Thanks for visiting and leaving the sweet comment on my blog. Hope Shadow is feeling better soon. Love the Ski Sheep, I just bought the Bunny Kit a few days ago but I need to get the foam pad before I can start. Take care.
