~Not what I expected~

Well, I felted the purse I was working on. I am NOT thrilled about how it turned out. I know where I went wrong, so at least I got the experimental one out of the way before I used my leather straps.

During felting it lost most of its size in the length not the width...which is not what I was hoping for. So, I will have to re-design the others taller and skinnier to get the look I want.

I made a matching scarf, but the purse lost a lot of the silver when felting, so they are not exactly alike. Well, all I can say is my sister may be getting a hand made purse and scarf for Christmas, again~ LMAO.

I still think they look great! I wish I knew how to knit.

Well, you got the practice one out of the way, learned from it and now you can make the one with leather straps. :)

Have a wonderful evening.

They look very nice and I think would make a perfect gift for a sister. Black goes with everything.
Sometimes when designing something it will take three tries before I am happy with it. But that is the way it goes sometimes and I am sure you will have this knitted purse with the leather straps in no time.
hugs, p
