~Holiday Joy~

It feels weird putting these holiday dolls up, already. It's not even Halloween, yet. LOL They are a lot of fun to make, though. I love painting dolls.

This is my first Allegany Annie's pattern. She is so adorable. I have been creating up a storm this week! Now, my office is a pig sty again, but it is not easy to put things back while creating. I will just have to do it later.

Joy will probably go on E-bay either this weekend or next Tuesday. I do not want her taking away from my Wynter's Queen Arabella, ya know. LOL

I may put her on WSOAPP sale blog till then, incase someone wants her now. You can click on her image to view her slide show.

So, do like my garland? I knew my background needed some flare, so I picked this up at Michaels, yesterday. I forgot something on my list, well, it was not on my list...lol so, now i gotta go back. That is the only place I ever drive to anymore. LOL I wish it were closer.

You are certainly a busy girl today! I was just on your site awhile ago and now you have a new post and a new girl! I told you I just bought this pattern today! She's awesome! In fact, I usually make my dolls with muslin. I bought some osnaburg to see how I like that. I'm naming my girl "Merry". She's gonna have the most beautiful dress. I found some fabric that has a black background with little red buds and leaves on it. It's gonna be a couple weeks until I can get her done. Gotta finish the Wynter's Queen

I just snuck out of work for a bit. Went to JoAnn's. Bought 5 beautiful Christmas fabrics--they were all 30% off. I decided that I am going to paint my Wynter Queen pale blue, crackle her with an overcoat of white. THEN I got her a beautiful royal blue fabric for her dress w/silver snowflakes on it. I found a piece of sheer silver and white for an overdress. How's that sound? you have really inspired me today! I am going home to sew!!!! Found 2 really nice snowflake ornaments. I ordered some of the paper Garland that was mentioned in the pattern.

That sounds neat. She is gonna be glamorous! Where did you get that crackle stuff? I wanted to use it on some paper clay.

Love Holiday Joy! She looks so cozy to hug. Really soft looking. Very cute. I see you found my painting already. :) You little shopper you. I have been so busy with school. Not much time to blog. Wish I could play more. Soon I hope. I can't wait to play Christmas. Looks fun.
